Enlightened Asylum Gaming was created to bring back the feel of when written reviews were popular. Many of us 90s kids would love to grab a copy of magazines like PC Gamer and Electronic Gaming Monthly, anticipating the news about future games and reading the reviews for the current ones. We have largely diverged from that path, with the advent of YouTube and Rumble (for links to our channels, click here). Although we have adapted to include visual content for our video game tips and tricks and reviews, it still benefits us gamers to have a nexus in which we can get the details for the multitude of games out there and even read related content on the video gaming industry. A lot of modern game reviewers rely on funding from multi-million dollar game corporations, in which they could potentially be incentivized to be biased towards a particular company. However, I have grown up with games and have played them my whole life. I love this hobby, and my opinion (though it is biased toward my personal interests, like everyone else) simply cannot be bought. I hope to provide detailed and entertaining reviews for all of you, so if you're reading this - Geralt and I thank you for being here.
